Lets chek out the celebretion of the Bicentenary in Buenos Aires:
From friday 21st to tuesday 25th Av 9 de Julio is going to be on its central area a promenade call PASEO DEL BICENTENARIO (the bicentenaryh walk). Main stage for celebretions!
Friday 21st
At the Obelisc - 8 pm - Concert Tribute to argentinian rock.
With Luis Alberto Spinetta, Moris, Fito Paez y León Gieco, among others.
Saturday 22nd
At the Obelisc -12am - National Forces Parade
Parade: The History of our army: they will show us all the uniforms the National Forces had from the English Invassions (1806) up to Falkland Islands War (1982)
The Army orchest is going to play during that parade
At the Obelisc - 3pm - Federal Parade
All the provinces will bring what is tipical from each place!
We are going to see regional animals, authentics customs from each area, horses, gauchos, etc!
At the Obelisc - 8pm - Latin american music concert
León Gieco lead and participate Jaime Roos, Gilberto Gil and Colombian singer Toto la Momposina. To be confirmed: Rubén Blades and Pablo Milanes.
Sunday 23rd
At the obelisc - 12am - Integration parade
Diferents comunities living in our country and foreign delegations. Tehere will be more than 3500 people from Germany, Japan, Spain, Korea, Arabia and other places.
Also Mexico, Venezuela, Italy and Ireland sent representatives!
At the obelisc - 8pm - Folklore and Tango Concert
National artists as Soledad Pastoruti, Gustavo Santaolalla, Victor Heredia, Teresa Parodi, Liliana Herrero and Peteco Carabajal.
There will be Tango orchests and dance shows!!!!!
Monday 24th
At the Obelisc - 3pm - Parade of antiques cars and motocycles
At the Obelisc - 4pm - Argentina vs Canada soccer game
On the stands of ther City Hall and the one of the Nation
Big screens will play the last soccer game agasint Canada, before leaving for the Word Cup!
At the Obelisc - 6pm - Fito Paez (national rock) concert
In front of the Colon Theatre - 6 pm
Reopening show! Perfomances are going to be play open sky for everyone even if it rains!
At the Obelisc - 8pm - Main show
Tribute to National Cinema, the National Symphonic will play music from National movies.
Starting the celebretion "La Bomba de Tiempo": drumb show - party (recomended!)
Diferents singers are singing nationals songs
Bajo fondo and orchest that plays electronic Tango (really cool!)
Tuesday 25 th
At the Obelisc - 2 pm
A show with 80 cars from Turismo Carretera
The two first locomotives from Argentina are going to be expose
At Plaza de Mayo - 7pm - MAIN PARADE
A hughe parade from there to the obelisc, more than 2000 artists, musicians, dancers, are going to tell the history of the country.
Fuerza Bruta artist will perfom all over, there will be 19 scences representing the history of our country.
At the Obelisc - 8pm
Fito Paez final concert - To finish the celebretion a Big Fire works show!
Side Stage at the intersection of 9 de Julio Alsina and Bartolomé Mitre.
On Saturday and Sunday from 5pm on Monday after 6pm and Tuesday 1pm to 5pm diferents shows will be perfomed organized by each province, invited countries and various communities living in Argentina.
Among others artist Abel Pintos, the Tekis, and Juan Falu will be there!
Mendoza will do a recreation of the Harvest Festival.
There are going to be six areas devoted to subjects such as Science and Technology, Youth and Education, Environment, Culture, Human Rights and Production. In each there will be lectures and discussion forums organized by national ministries and NGOs.
Access to the Paseo del Bicentenario
There will be three doors at the main entrances of the ride operated by different artists
Corrientes Avenue's entry was made by Marcos Lopez and the GAC group.
The Avenida de Mayo was performed by Graciela Sacco and Leon Ferrari.
Belgrano Av. door was designed by the group Mondongo.
Feria de las Provincias.
Each province will have a stand showing its history, its art, its natural attractions and everything that represents it.
There will be a place for residents Argentines abroad, the "Province 25", a program focusing on children, and also a stand shared by the Nation and the City of Buenos Aires.
Gourmet Tour
Along the avenue will be installed 72 food stalls spread over all provinces, social organizations and various communities (Italian, Russian, Japanese, Jewish and Bolivia, among others).
Regional food will be sold, preserves and liqueurs.
